Green

Hello there! :) First of all, a big THANK YOU to everybody who are stopping by and leaving me comments. They are much appreciated! I haven't had much free time, so I haven't had the chance to visit your blogs yet, but hopefully I can do it soon. It's been pretty busy here in the last month. I'm still adjusting to my "new life", but I'm loving every single minute of it. :)

A new challenge just started at Crafty ribbons challenge blog and this time wed like to see green on your creations - of course in combination with some ribbon.

The card I am about to show you was made for my mom's birthday that was in February. She likes green and since she was getting a "nature coloring class" from K&C for her b-day (well, a gift voucher for the class, because the class hasn't been released by her b-day yet) I thought I'd step away from those cute images and rather use this beautiful bird stamp from CTMH on my card.

I've only used scraps of papers that I had in my stash on this card. The circle behind the bird was embossed with Crafts-too embossing folder. I embellished the card with doily, gems, sequins, pearls, flowers and ribbon. Ribbon is from Crafty ribbons (you can get it here) and all the other embellishments came from my stash, For the center of the flowers I used golden brads.

I hope you'll come play with us. I can't wait to see what you make! :)

Hugs! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
Stamping sensations: Flower power
Penny Black and more: Feature a creature
Craftyhazelnut's pattenred paper challenge: Use patterned paper
AnMa Creatief: Spring

THE GREETING FARM BLOG

For my today's card I decided to use another stamp from the I love mom set.

I don't use black on my cards very often, but I really like black, white and red colour combination, so I decided to make a card in those colours. I didn't use any design papers, only cardstock and a piece of old music sheet. I used lots of different die cuts and some gems and ribbon to decorate my card.

We’ll have more inspiration over the next few days using these awesome new stamps! Don’t forget you have until Friday, March 18th, 12pm CST to leave your comments on THE GREETING FARM BLOG.
Happy Hopping!

I'd like to enter this card to the following challenges:

It's a bit shabby and a bit chic

Hello everybody! :) How are you doing today? I hope everything is well with you!

I was offered a GDT position at Bunny Zoe's challenge blog this month and I gladly accepted. :) Unfortunately the lovely Nikki is closing down the store, but there are still some great stuff in there at great prices, so you might want to check it out. :)

The challenge theme this month is "Create a card using your favourite stamp brand sold at Bunny Zoe's crafts". I know this sounds like a very easy theme, but it was not an easy one for me. Why not? Because Nikki has soooooo many awesome stamp brands for sale in the store. It was nearly impossible to choose just one, because there are so many I really like (a.g. The Greeting Farm, Kaisercraft, Whimsy ...). It took me a while to decide which one to choose, but I guess I was in a mood for creating something a bit more "shabby chic" when I was making a decision, so I decided to use some of the Kaisercraft stamps for this challenge.

Before I show you my card I want to tell you a little something about my friend Pamellia ... She's one *very* talented lady and all her creations are breath-taking. In my eyes she's the queen of shabby chic and vintage style. Why am I telling you this? Because this card that I'm about to show you was inspired by her work.

So, here's my card ...

I didn't use any design papers on my card. It's all made with white cardstock, some Kaisercraft stamps and TH stencil. To make the golden pattern on the cardstock I first stamped on the cardstock and then did some embossing with Ranger's Queen's gold embossing powder. Stamps used for this were Kaisercraft's Arty and Flutter. The diamond background was created with TH harlequin stencil. First I used the stencil with victorian velvet distress ink, spinkled it with water to get rid of the harsh lines and then I sprinkled some frantage and glittery light pink embossing powder over it. The music background I made on the "flag" was also made with Kaisercraft's stamp (Sheet music), but this time I only stamped the image, I didn't do the embossing.

For the main focus of my card I played around with stamps from Kaisercraft's Honey Chai set. The "frame" was embossed with Queen's gold embossing powder and the birds were stamped with Memento rich cocoa stamp pad and coloured with TH spun sugar distress ink. Butterflies were stamped on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder.

I distressed all of the edges with my scissors and I decorated the card with some lace and trims from my stash. The crystals I used for the center of the butterflies are from Kaisercraft and pearls are from my stash.

I hope you like this card and that you'll come and join the challenge too. Can't wait to see which stamp brand is your favourite. :)

Have a great day!
Hugs! xx

Live and love crafts: Signs of spring
Crop Stop: Anything goes (from the store: Kaisercraft, tim Holtz stencil and distress ink, Ranger embossing powder)

Mon Amie Anya

Hello Farm friends! :) Today is the last preview day at The Greeting Farm blog and we are showcasing the new Anya stamp. It's called "Mon Amie Anya" and she's a total cutie, I can tell you that! ;)

To make this card I used several different papers from my stash and different die cuts that I received from a friend a while back.

I coloured Anya with Faber Castell and Giotto pencils and Promarkers.

All of the new released stamps and dies will soon be available at TGF store, so be sure to stop there - you know you want to. ;)

Have a great day! Hugs! xx

I love mom

Hey hey! :) It's another preview day at The Greeting Farm. Yesterday we were showcasing the I love dad set and today we are showcasing the I love mom set.

I decided to use one of the sentiments that come with the set as the main image on my card. The flower I stamped next to the sentiment is part of the set as well. I used papers from my stash and distressed all of the edges with my scissors. To embellishe the card I used some ribbon, doilies and pearls from my stash.

Please visit The Greeting Farm blog and check out what my lovely teamies made with this set.

Have a great day!
Hugs! xx

I love dad

Hello everybody! It's time for the new release at The Greeting Farm. Over the next couple of days the DT will be showing their creations with newly released stamps and dies. Today we are showcasing the I love dad set.

I don't know about you, but I'm always struggling with male cards. But I just love this set. These stamps are very versatile and as there are so many different ones, it's really easy to make something.

I decided to make a CAS card. Isn't this golf cart awesome? And I just love that "arrow" stamp to create the border. So much fun. I'll definitely be using that one a lot. This stamp set comes with matching dies, which is a big time saver. Do you imagine having to cut this golf cart out by hand? Goodness, it would probably take me forever!

Hop over to the TGF blog and check out what my teamies made with this set. You won't be sorry, I promise. :)

Have a great day! xx

Dreams do come true

Hello my crafty friends! It's my turn again to share something on The greeting farm blog. This time I decided to make a CAS card. I like CAS look, but making a CAS card is a whole other story. It usually takes me forever to make a CAS card. I got inspiration for my card here. I liked how that lady put things together and the effect she achieved with texture paste.

I didn't use any DP for this card, just white cardstock. First I made a template for the circle and then I used my homemade texture paste and my new Memory box Textured mesh stencil for the pattern. Around the circle I used some golden glitter glue. As I thought the paper was "too white" I randomly sprinkled some frantage around the circle. In the corners I used golden brads from my stash. That golden rope has been in my stash forever. I think it was part of a chocolate wrapping. I cut the stars out and then covered them with gold glitter glue. Sentiment is a TGF stamp (it's part of the Ever after set) and I embossed it with gold embossing powder.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

Animals rule

Hey hey! How are you doing? Is everything fine where you are? I sure hope it is!

A new challenge just started at The Greeting Farm blog. This month's theme is "Animals rule", so we want to see your cards/projects with animals. What fun! :D I decided to use Magical friends set that was released earlier this year. I also used the matching dies so I didn't have to cut those ponnies out with scissors. What a time saver!

Aren't these ponnies adorable? So stinkin' cute!!! To make this card I used lots of leftover scraps of paper from my stash. To decorate the card I used a pearl trim and gems that I had in my stash and with some ribbons from Crafty ribbons.

I coloured the images with Faber Castell and Giotto pencils. Images are raised on foam pads for some extra dimension.

Have a wonderful day and don't forget to enter our challenge. :)
