Happiest day of my life - I became a mommy

Hello everybody! This is going to be a very short post. I just wanted to let you know, that today is the day I became a mommy to a sweet little girl. There are no words that could describe how happy and excited I am. It's definitely the happiest day of my life. :)

Like a princess

Hey, hey! How are you doing? I hope everything is well with you. :) It's my turn to make something for the TGF blog today and I decided to play with my new Ever after stamp set that I received from my sweet friend - thank you so much girl!!! I didn't find this kit in the store, but there are many other cute stamps you can choose from, so be sure to hop to the store and browse around. I'm sure you'll find quite some things that you *need*. ;)

I decided to colour up Noelle image from the set. She's a cutie, isn't she? A real princess. :) She's coloured with Promarkers and Giotto and Faber Castell pencils.

I made the whole card in soft pastel colours. I used lots of leftover scraps of paper from my stash.

Flowers, pearls and twine came from my stash as well. Doily is my newest Cheery Lynn die and I just love it. Isn't it beautiful? I think is adds an elegant touch to the finished projects. :)

Don't forget you still have some time left to play with our current challenge at TGF blog. Hope to see you there! :)

Have a wonderful day! xx

New challenge and new ribbons at Crafty ribbons

Good morning my crafty friends! I hope you are doing well! Today we have a new challenge at Crafty ribbons challenge blog and the theme is "leap", which means we'd like to see something that jumps on your creations - can be a frog, kangaroo ... Put your brain cells to work! ;) Oh, and don't forget to use ribbon on your creation as well!

Before I go on and show you what I made I want to tell you about the new ribbons that just became available at the Crafty ribbons store. They are *awesome*, so be sure to check them out. There are sewing ribbons, travel ribbons, crochet ribbons, patchwork work ribbons ... I'm sure you'll love them all! :D

This has been quite a challenge for me, but then I found this  WOJ image among my stash and thought it would be perfect for this challenge. Plus, additional bonus is that now I already have one Christmas card made for this year. ;)

I used different papers from my stash on this card. And as I've already said, the main image is from WOJ and the sentiment is from LLLC. I cut the sentiment out with Spellbinders' die. Around the sentiment I drew some stitches with my white gel pen. I did the colouring with watercolour pencils. And on girl's sweater and earmuffs I also used some stickles.

The golden stars are sequins that I had in my stash forever and the wooden snowflakes came from my stash as well. In the middle of each snowflake I glueed a golden glittery circle from Docrafts. The brown stripe ribbon is from Crafty ribbons.

I hope you'll come play with us.
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

A touch of red

Good morning my crafty friends! How are you doing? I hope everything is well with you. Can you believe that January is gone already? I don't know about you, but for me this month just flew by. But I have to say that I am very excited that February is finally here. It means I'll get to see my little baby soon. Can't wait! She's due in the middle of February. :)

But don't worry, I won't start babbling about babies in this post. ;) I'm here to tell you about the new challenge that just started at The Greeting Farm blog. This month we'd like to see a touch of red on you your card, along with any of the cute images from TGF. Valentine's day is just around the corner, so you can make a Valentine's card if you want to, but it's not a must. Just be sure to use some red on your creation, that's all. :)

I had a play with two sets that were part of January release - Dollie with letter and Magical friends

Ok, so you can see Dollie, but you are probably wondering where did I use the Magical friends set, right? See the heart background behind Dollie? The heart is a stamp that comes with the Magical Friends set and I just randomly stamped it around on the white cardstock to create the background. :) Other heart papers came from my stash and so did the glittery dots I used in the corners. The heart ribbon is from Crafty ribbons.

I coloured Dollie with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The embossed hearts I used on the card were hand cut from a white cardstock, inked a bit with TH distress ink and embossed with Cuttlebug's embossing folder.

I hope you'll come play with us! :)
Have a wonderful day! xx
