Numbers

Hey hey! I'm here today with my second GDT post for the ABC challenge blog. This time the challenge is "N for numbers". I was thinking about making a card for a special birthday (you know, like 50, 60 ...), but then I cahenged my mind. So I used some metal Prima numbers to decorate the card instead.

I used some leftover pieces of daisy d's paper and some cream, white and grey cardstock on this card. I made the big (pinkish - sort of) flowers myself using the TH tattered florals die, white cardstock, homemade spray and some flower stems for the center. Other flowers came from my stash and so did doily, pearls and all the metal embellishments. Butterflies were part of the Nature collage kit by Artsy collage - I just fussy cut them and covered them with glitter glue. The circle die cut was embossed with Anna Griffin's embossing folder.

I hope you'll come play with us!
Have a great day! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:

The theme for this forthnight is "bicycle + ribbon". You can use a bicycle embellishment, a bicycle stamp, a bicycle die cut ... Anything really, as long as we can see a bicycle. And don't forget to also add some ribbon.

Ali and Tony from the Crafty ribbons store are offering this amazing prize to the lucky winner ...

Just look at all these ribbons. Aren't they gorgeous?! To be in the chance to win them just enter our callenge. :)

Autumn happiness

Hello my crafty friends! How are you doing? We are melting here. It's soooooo hot!!! Even though we have all the windows (and curtains) closed it's still around 28 degrees Celsius in here during the day. So just imagine the heat outside (it's around 37 degrees)! Trust me, you don't want to leave the apartment unless it's *really* necessary. It's supposed to cool down a little bit over the next couple of days, but not for long. Next week should be hot, hot, hot again. *sigh*

I haven't been doing much crafting lately - I think even my mojo needs a break from all the heat - but I can show you a gift bag I made a (short) while back, but haven't posted it on the blog yet.

I decorated this bag with different papers from my stash. As you can see I did a lot of stitching too - all by hand (took me forever!!). Doily, lace, pearls, flowers and buttons all came from my stash. Image is from Whimsy stamps and is called Autumn happiness.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. Small butterflies were made with my craft punch.

Ok, so this is it for today. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the sunny days! xx

I would like to enter my bag to the following challenges:

Magnolia, but a bit differently ...

Hello everybody! Can you believe it's July already? Goodness, time's flaying by so quickly! Have you got any summer holidays planned? We will be going away for a week (to the sea - yay! :D) and I'm really looking forward to that.

So, I was invited to be a guest designer at ABC challenge blog and the theme of the challenge that just started is "M for Magnolia". Not difficult, right? But you can make it complicated if you want - like I did. I do have several Magnolia images, but did I use any of them? No, of course not. Why take the easy way? *sigh* My card is a bit differently from what you might expect. Here's what it looks like ...

You're probably thinking "What on earth has this card to do with Magnolia?!". Well, believe it or not, it actually does. I actually used 3 different Magnolia products on this card. First, the design paper is from Magnolia (it's called Butterfly dreams), then I used Magnolia die (vintage mistletoe) for the leaves and those crystals are from Knick Knackery's (vintage diamonds and pearls by Magnolia) as well. See, told you my card does fit the challenge, even though there are no Tilda or Edwin. ;)

The little birdie was stamped on a piece of white cardstock and then I cut it out with my scissors and covered it with gloss gel. Flowers, lace and pearl trim came from my stash.

I hope you will come play with us. I can't wait to see your Magnolia creations. :)

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx
